Citrix Installation Instructions

Windows XP - Windows 7

Under the "Receiver Download" section on the right side of this page, click on your District name. The Receiver website will talk you through the installation of the Citrix Receiver.

You will need to know the name of your Districts "Domain", which you can receive from your Tech Department.

Mac OS X 10.5 - 10.7 (Intel Only)

Under the "Receiver Download" section on the right side of this page, click on your District name. The Receiver website will talk you through the installation of the Citrix Receiver.

Legacy Windows & Mac

Windows computers older than Windows XP, and Mac OS X computers older than 10.5 must use the Web Access to launch Applications. Under the "Web Access" section on the right side of this page, click on your District name.

The first time you log into the Web Access site, it will ask you to install the Citrix online plugin. This plugin allows you to launch Citrix applications.

Apple iPhone, iPod, iPad

Citrix provides a Citrix Receiver application that can be downloaded in the iTunes App Store. You can search the App Store for "Citrix", or click on this link.

You can use the Mobile Auto Setup Link or the manual settings on the right.

Android Devices (Generic)

Citrix provides a Citrix Receiver application that can be downloaded in the Android Market/Google Play store. Most Android devices are setup a little bit differently. These instructions are generic and the experience on your device may vary.

  1. Open the Google Play store
  2. Click on the Search icon, type: Citrix and click search
  3. Download and Install the Citrix Receiver
  4. Return to the Home screen and click on Browser
  5. Open this Citrix Installation Instructions website on your Kindle Fire
  6. On the right hand side of this page, under Mobile Settings, click on your District Name
  7. Enter your Citrix username
  8. Return to the Home screen and click on the All Apps Icon and then Citrix Receiver
  9. In the upper right hand corner, click on "Log On" and enter your password
  10. Click on the "Apps" tab on the right and select the Applications that you wish to add to your Favorites
  11. Once finished, close the "Apps" tab and select the Application that you wish to launch

Amazon Kindle Fire

  1. Click on Apps in the menu bar
  2. Click on Store in the upper right
  3. In the Search bar type: Citrix and click Search
  4. Download and Install the Citrix Receiver
  5. Return to the Home screen and click on Web
  6. Open this Citrix Installation Instructions website on your Kindle Fire
  7. On the right hand side of this page, under Mobile Settings, click on your District Name
  8. Enter your Citrix username
  9. Return to the Home screen and click on Apps and then Citrix Receiver
  10. Click on your Account at the top of the screen and enter your password
  11. Click on the Application that you wish to launch

Windows Mobile Devices

Citrix provides a Citrix Receiver application that can be downloaded from their website.

Blackberry Devices

 Citrix Receiver is downloadable from BlackBerry App World for supported BlackBerry devices. There is a specific version for the Blackberry Playbook.

Linux Client Installation (Ubuntu)

1) Click the download link above to download the installer.

2) Unzip the downloaded file, run the DEB file, and install the plug-in.
3) Close and reopen your web browser.
4) Navigate to the Citrix login page that you were provided.

*If you receive the prompt to install the plug-in on the login page, click 'Already Installed" on the right hand side of the page.
**If you receive an Entrust 2048 Certificate error when launching an app, download the certificate from above and place it in the "/usr/lib/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/" directory.
